China Pharmacy is a comprehensive academic journal of pharmacy at the national level published both in China and globally, which is supervised by the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China and operated by the Chinese Hospital Association and Chongqing University Cancer Hospital. The journal serves as a high-quality academic platform for pharmacy professionals working in hospital pharmacy departments as well as those engaged in the research & development, production, operation and clinical application of medicines and pharmaceutical management personnel. It has broad and stable authorship and readership among hospitals at all levels, medical and pharmaceutical universities, and medical research institutions across China, and has a wide influence in the industry.

Since its establishment in January 1990, China Pharmacy has always upheld the aims of "Building a Famous Brand in China's Journal Industry and Serving as a Guide for Medicine and Health". According to the latest editions of the Chinese S&T Journal Citation Reports (Core Version), issued by the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China, and the Annual Report for Chinese Academic Journal Impact Factors (Natural Science) released by Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), the journal's key metrics rank among the top in the field of pharmaceutical academic journals in China. It has consistently received the A+ rating in the RCCSE Chinese Core Academic Journals for multiple consecutive years and has been selected for the "Phase II of the Excellence Action Plan of China's STM Journals" as a Chinese-language emerging journal.
