Influencing factors for poor prognosis of drug-induced liver injury in Chinese population: a systematic review
“The latest research focuses on adverse prognostic factors of drug-induced liver injury (DILI). Through systematic evaluation, experts found that patients with history of liver disease, history of drinking, elevated INR, elevated ALT, use of Chinese herbal medicine/traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations, and non hepatocyte injury DILI had a high risk of adverse prognosis, while elevated ALB, PTA, and use of more than two liver protective drugs could reduce the risk, providing an evidence-based basis for early identification and intervention of DILI.”
