OBJECTIVE: To establish fingerprint for Jiubiying weitong tablets, and to provide reference for improving quality control of it. METHODS: The fingerprints for 13 batches of Jiubiying weitong tablets were established by HPLC. Similarity Evaluation System for Chromatographic Fingerprint of TCM (2012 edition) was used to analyze fingerprint. The attribution of common peaks were assigned by using 3 kinds of medicinal materials (Aucklandia lappa, Cinnamomum cassia and Citrus reticulata) extracts as reference. RESULTS: The similarity of 13 batches of Jiubiying weitong tablets was higher than 0.952, and 12 common chromatographic peaks were observed. No. 3, 4, 10 and 12 common chromatographic peaks were hesperidin, cinnamaldehyde, costuslactone and dehydrocostuslactone, respectively. No. 2, 3, 5, 8, 9, 11 common chromatographic peaks were attributed to C. reticulate; No. 10 and 12 common chromatographic peaks were attributed to A. lappa; No. 1, 4, 6, 7 common chromatographi peaks were attributed to C. cassia. CONCLUSIONS: The study provide certain evidence for quality control of Jiubiying weitong tablets.
