OBJECTIVE: To explore the mode of clinical pharmacists participating in multidisciplinary collaboration diagnosis and treatment. METHODS: The responsibilities and functions of clinical pharmacists participating in multidisciplinary collaboration diagnosis and treatment for 7 poisonous mushroom poisoning patients were described. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS: In multidisciplinary collaboration diagnosis and treatment group, the main job content of clinical pharmacists included participation in the formulation of therapy plan, collection of wild mushroom sample, contaction of experts for identifing strains, review of literature and analysis of possible poisoning mechanisms to provide evidence for clinical, adjustment and optimization of treatment drug regimens for patients, carring out of popular science propaganda activities on poisonous mushrooms, prevention and management of adverse drug reactions to improve medication compliance of patients,providing the suggestions that using Compound yiganling capsule when there was no significant improvement in liver function after hemodialysis, and all patients were cured and discharged from the hospital finally. So, clinical pharmacists could provide theoretical support for clinical treatment, optimize the clinical treatment plan, provide a valuable reference for follow-up treatment, play an important role in multidisciplinary collaboration diagnosis and treatment.
