OBJECTIVE: To improve professional skills and practical abilities of students majored in drug marketing and management major, and to cultivate of high quality innovative talents of drug marketing and management. METHODS: Based on the guidance of constructivism theory, related theoretical courses were integrated, such as Pharmaceutical Administration, Management Basis for Pharmaceutical Enterprise, Drug Quality Management. Training course was also introduced. RESULTS: The related contents of drug marketing and management in Pharmaceutical Administration were added into the course of Drug Quality Management; related drug registration management was added into the course of Pharmaceutical Administration. The training courses of Management Basis for Pharmaceutical Enterprise, Drug Quality Managemen were integrated and transformed into training competition which simulated the whole operating process of pharmaceutical enterprise company. CONCLUSIONS: The teaching system reform of drug marketing and management course in our university has begun to take shape and lays good theoretical and practical foundation for the students, employment and career.
