OBJECTIVE： To provide reference for the further development of pharmaceutical enterprises in Fujian province. METHODS： Combined with investigation data of pharmaceutical enterprises in Fuzhou， Xiamen， Zhangzhou， Quanzhou， Nanping， etc.， the development of pharmaceutical enterprises in Fujian province were summarized and main influential factors were investigated to put forward measures for further development. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS： The overall development of pharmaceutical enterprises in Fujian province is not optimistic， manifesting as the implementation of medicine policy does not reach the designated position； supporting service facilities is imperfect； the mechanism of talent introduction is not perfect； local drug is influenced by centralized bidding policy； meanwhile， small scale enterprises， low profit， little R&D investment， few pharmaceutical professionals and weak marketing capabilities hinder the further development. It is suggested to further strengthen the authority functions， optimize the investment environment， improve the supporting service system， improve the talent introduction and training mechanism， optimize innovation mode to promote the further development.
