RESULTS: In the enrolled 370 patients, the incidence of total undernutritional deficiency was 25.1%, and the incidence of total nutritional risk was 31.4%; accounting to statistical analysis, there were no significant differences in the incidence of undernutrition and nutritional risk in male and female patients (P>0.05), while there were significant differences in the incidence of undernutrition and nutritional risk in patients with the 3 diseases (P<0.05, the incidence of undernutrition and nutritional risk of colon cancer patients was higher than patients with rectal and colorectal polyps). There were no significant differences in body mass indexes in patients with the 3 diseases at the time of admission and discharge (P>0.05), but the serum albumin was statistically significant (P<0.05, which was significantly decreased at discharge).
