OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the simultaneous determination of salvianolic acid B, puerarin and hydroxysafflor yellow A in Xinshule tablet. METHODS: HPLC was performed on a Welchrom C18 with mobile phase of acetonitrile - 0.1% phosphoric acid (gradient elution) at a flow rate of 1.0ml/min, detection wavelength was 280 nm, column temperature was 35 ℃, and injection volume was 10 μl. RESULTS: The linear range was 31.54-189.22 μg/ml for salvianolic acid B (r=0.999 1), 17.13-102.76 μg/ml for puerarin(r=0.999 7) and 4.27-25.60 μg/ml for hydroxysafflor yellow A(r=0.999 5); RSDs of precision, stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 2%; recoveries were 96.29%-100.88% (RSD=1.73%,n=6), 97.12%-100.57% (RSD=1.15%,n=6) and 97.09%-99.95%(RSD=1.01%,n=6), respectively. CONCLUSIONS: The method is simple, practical and reproducible, and can effectively control the quality of preparation.
