OBJECTIVE:To introduce the training mode for clinical pharmacist by problem-based learning(PBL),and provide reference for improving the teaching quality of clinical pharmacist training. METHODS:Based on the full awareness of PBL teaching,PBL was combined with specific clinical cases by teachers and students in stage of browsing records and reviewing prescription
participating in clinicians round wards and pharmacy round wards. RESULTS:The students quickly knew the disease conditions and medication characteristics at the phase of reviewing medical orders and prescriptions,which was helpful for students to clinical practice with questions and learning relevant knowledge points;participating in round ward was helpful for students further knowing relevant conditions of patients to further participate in clinical treatment and stimulate student intrinsic motivation;participating in round ward for key patients and retrieving relevant literature can deepen participants’knowledge of understanding related drugs;learning the typical cases of adverse reactions had consolidated the process of PBL teaching and further trained the clinical pharmacists thinking of students. CONCLUSIONS:PBL teaching based on real cases has improved the quality of teaching for clinical pharmacist training.
